Nice content brother I been watching your videos for awhile, So I have a Asus Rog rapture gt-Axe 11000 and 1 Asus Zenwifi pro ET12, I was think of Selling my Asus rog AXe11000 and getting another Asus zenwifi pro et12 to match, Do you think I will get better speeds or it won't matter?

It's a good video, but totally outdated, I'm using a asus ax82u and what you suggested isn't the case. No longer have to use iptv, all under Wan now on asus and no form of bridging as it has a dsl port, so straight swap over

This will slow down your internet speed a lot. I have a 2.5 Gbit. when I turn those on I can't even get a1 Gbit speed. tested more then once. the speed test on the router is not the same as from your computer when those controls are on.

Deliberately setting up a double NAT arrangement is really unnecessary. You can just get a switch and something like a UniFi access point. They can be set up with a smartphone on the app

In San Jose, CA USA, we bought two (2) two (2) packs of the Zen WiFi ET12. We have one (1) Tower used as the Router and one (1) as an Ethernet backhaul AP Node. They work great. We're having issues trying to add another two (2) pack set as two (2) AP Nodes. When trying to add either of the two (2) as AP Nodes, I get flashing red LED's on both units. I can't get these to be recognized or set up as nodes # 2 & #3. Any suggestions?

You can use a FSX SIP adapter such as the Grand Stream HT801 for the phone, you don't need the vodafone router. You will need to ask Vodafone for your VoIP details these are SIP username, SIP password, SIP URI, SIP Proxy and SIP registrar server. You will need to escalate to 2nd level tech support to get this.

I ditched my Vodafone router as the WiFi kept disconnecting. I changed to a TP Link Archer MR600 with 4G failover and a Grand stream HT801 SIP adapter for the phone, all works well and more reliable WiFi

question. I have an ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 & 2 ROG Rapture GT6s. I have a large area to cover. I was told by ASUS Tech support before I bought them that they will work together. Well I was given the AXE16000 but I bought the 2 GT6s for the extended space. I told them I planned on using the AXE16000 as my main router and the 2 ROG GT6s as 2 nodes or what ever you want to call them. They told me they will work. Today when I called tech support they told me you cannot use them this way. Both devices under their specs say AiMesh capable. Are you familiar with these? If so do you know if they will work like I am hoping they will? If they do where do you recommend I go for quality support to get help setting them up. ASUS customer tech support is terrible. I read my serial number to the guy 10 times and I swear they were just not listening. Also for your info. I plan to have my AXE16000 connected to my ISP modem. My ISP does not have a built in router/wifi. So I will not need to put anything on their equipment in bridge mode. So the AXE16000 will be my router and I will have the 2 GT6s spread out far away on other side of building. My AXE16000 is next to and connected to a 16 port gigabit switch. I have Ethernet ran in the walls all the way out to where both GT6s are located. So the internet will be supplied from my AXE16000 through Cat6 to my GT6s so they will not be receiving WiFi signal from AXE16000 to the GT6s but instead they will be directly connected via Ethernet. I am hoping I can have the 2 GT6s receive wired internet and then broadcast WiFi from there to devices on that side of building. Will this work and how do I go about doing this? I am having issue with the same model. Connected wired internet to my pc internet is working but i cant able to login a web GUI settings of router. Gives me error DNS_probe_finished_nxdomain. Did not try the hard reset metheod yet. Do u think hard reset fix this issue ?

A great series of videos. I am looking to leave BT in a month or two as their pricing has become too much. I am looking at Vodafone's Full Fibre 900 offerings and retaining my landline as I am currently on BT's FTTP 500 offering with Digital Voice. Am i correct in assuming that Vodafone's FTTP solution would play happily with the ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 AiMesh system, provided of course that I retain the Vodafone hub for DV access?

Think the VPN Wi-Fi and Guest Portal are awesome. Currently have ax89x with 4 of 6 guest WiFi profiles setup. (Iot, work, guest) and my iot already maxed out my aiprotection as the limit for that is 64 for malware and family protection. Hope this iot Wi-Fi also applies all the standard scanning without hitting that limit and we all know these devices create very little overhead as the traffic volume is very low. And hope it puts it at the end of the line in the qos.
